Frequently asked.
Is there a free AI golf swing analyzer?
+
Yes. SwingMaster is free to use in your browser with no account and no card. AI analysis has a fair-use cap of 25 frames a day per internet connection; drawing, slow motion and frame stepping have no limit.
Do I need to download an app?
+
No. It runs in the mobile browser (Safari or Chrome on iPhone and Android) and on desktop. Open the site, choose a video and start.
Does my video get uploaded?
+
No. The video is opened on your device and never uploaded to a server for storage. When you tap Analyze Current Frame, only that one paused frame is sent as a still image to the AI for analysis.
Can AI replace a golf instructor?
+
No. It is a tool for reviewing your own swing between lessons and checking whether a change is showing up on video. A good instructor sees things a single frame cannot, so use both.
What angle should I film from?
+
Film down-the-line (camera behind you, pointing at the target) and face-on (camera facing your chest). Keep the phone at roughly hand height and far enough back that the whole club stays in frame. How to film your golf swing.
What video formats can I use?
+
Anything your browser can play: MP4, MOV, WebM and most phone-shot video, including slow-motion clips.
